Kauaʻi Island Utility Cooperative’s Nominating Committee has confirmed four candidates for its Board of Directors election on March 19, 2022.
The nominated candidates are, in alphabetical order:
Each year, KIUC holds an election to fill three of nine director positions that carries a three-year term. The directors elected in the 2022 election will hold a term that expires in 2025.
Members may also run for the cooperative’s board by submitting a completed petition form, which includes the name, service address, phone and/or account number and signature of at least 35 members. Potential petition candidates must also fill out Board Policy 18 and attend a board orientation.
Completed petitions and Board Policy 18 may be scanned and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or hard copy submissions can be left in the night depository at the KIUC office at 4463 Pahe‘e Street in Līhu‘e no later than 4 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021.
