KIUC provides electrical service to Kauai – approximately 38,000 metered locations. 

If you would like to start, stop or change your service, select the appropriate service application from the list below. Forms need to be downloaded and then filled out.

Start Service

If you are applying for electrical service to an existing home, the following will be required:

  1. Residential Service Application Form or Commercial Service Application Form
  2. Copy of valid, government-issued photo ID and W9 if the account will be in a business name
  3. Credit Deposit – After your application has been processed, a representative will contact you with your account number, credit deposit amount and options for paying
  4. A Service Processing fee of $20.00 and Membership fee of $0.01 will be billed on your first month's bill
  5. Assumption Agreement for homes and businesses with existing photovoltaic (PV) systems or other generation
