Eligibility Requirements / Terms & Conditions
  1. Rebate applications must be submitted no later than ten months after EV Charger Installation is completed.
  2. Rebate incentives are limited to one eligible EV Charger rebate per member.
  3. Rebate is available to KIUC members only.
  4. All rebates will be paid in the year the equipment was purchased and installed.
  5. Commercial accounts do not qualify and should be referred to the Commercial Level II Multi-Port EV Charger Rebate Program.
  6. Member must have an active residential account and be the member of record.
  7. Member must purchase at minimum 300 kWH per month of electricity from KIUC for the preceding 12 months prior to rebate submission.
  8. Incentive application with itemized sales receipt (proof of purchase) and approved County permit must be submitted to receive rebate.
  9. Participation is based on a first-come, first-served basis, until annual funds are depleted.
  10. Chargers under this rebate are subject to visual verification. If you are selected for a field audit, you will be contacted by a KIUC Representative.
  11. KIUC reserves the right to discontinue and/or change the rebate levels without notice.
  12. Participants must submit a completed rebate application, along with copies of approved County permits, proof of purchase of a Level II Charger, and proof of installation to: KIUC ENERGY SERVICES, 4463 Pahee St., Suite 1, Lihue, HI 96766 or Email to energyservices@kiuc.coop
  13. 13. Qualifying rebates will be credited to the above referenced account within 3-6 weeks from the date approved.
Waiver of Liability

I have read and understand the Eligibility Requirements and agree to the Terms & Conditions of this Multi-Port Level II EV Charger. I understand that Kaua`i Island Utility Cooperative (KIUC) makes no warranty, expressed or implied, of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of the installation of any energy saving devices, including but not limited to equipment purchased with this rebate program and does not warrant or guarantee that any specific energy savings will result. I understand KIUC is not obligated to pay me a rebate, even if I meet all program requirements. By signing this waiver of liability, I waive any and all claims of any nature I may now have or have in the future against KIUC, its employees, officers, directors and agents arising out of this rebate program unless caused by KIUC’s gross negligence.
