Candidates Confirmed for 2026 Board Election

Kauaʻi Island Utility Cooperative’s Nominating Committee has confirmed seven candidates for the 2026 Board of Directors election on March 14, 2026. 

The nominated candidates are, in alphabetical order: 

• Dan Giovanni
• Greg Kamm
• Janet Kass
• Alicia Leong
• Jim Mayfield
• Bryson Ponce
• Allan A. Smith 

Each year, KIUC holds an election to fill three of nine director positions that carry a three-year term. The directors elected in the 2026 election will hold a term that expires in 2029. 

Election packets will be mailed to members at the end of February. The deadline to cast your ballot is March 14, 2026 at noon.
